» gwyntastic linked this AMAZING trailer and I simply must pass it on: Merlin - Forces of Destiny (Theatrical Trailer) @ YouTube. Very well done!
» Something a lot less awesome: zafra tells me that Syfy cut a very important scene from The Last Dragonlord, the one where Merlin gets Arthur ready to fight the dragon. The thought that American audiences may never get to see that scene is horrible! Damn you, Syfy. Here, American first-time Merlin watchers, I shall quote the scene for you:
Arthur: Merlin, if I die... please...
Arthur: The Dragonlord today. I saw you. One thing I tell all my young Knights... no man is worth your tears.
Merlin: (Teasingly) Yeah. You're certainly not.
Arthur: What are you doing?
Merlin: I'm coming with you.
Arthur: Merlin, the chances are I'm going to die.
Merlin: Yeah, you probably would if I wasn't there.
Merlin: Do you know how many times I had to save your Royal backside?
Arthur: Well, at least you've got your sense of humour back.
[Arthur goes to leave, Merlin follows.]
Arthur: Are you really going to face this dragon with me?
Merlin: I'm not going to sit here and watch. I know it's hard for you to understand how I feel, but...
[Arthur's face says: oh god, is he going to profess his undying love for me again?!]
Merlin: Well, I care a hell of a lot about that armour. I'm not going to let you mess it up.
You see! You see what a tragedy it is that they cut this! UNBELIEVABLE.
» I need to do three things this weekend: pick a layout for the Merlin Transcripts Project community & announce the project, come up with a discussion topic for shapingdestiny, and work up the nerve to post & pimp my B/C fic. Not much, you say? 36° C (96.8° F), I say! It's a miracle I'm still sitting upright at this point.
» On that note, ugh! Time for shower #1. *crawls*
