Doctor Who 5.05 + Confidential: ALRIGHT FINE. 11 has grown on me. LIKE FUNGUS, HOSTILE TAKEOVER STYLE. And right now I'm not sure I mind. HAPPY?

"It's impossible."
"How impossible?"
"Two minutes."
-- Sometimes I think he exaggerates just to look brilliant. I'M ON TO YOU, DOCTOR.

When the Angels were coming through the hole I was TERRIFIED. First an arm, then the Angel looking in... asdgfsdjgfh HALP.

"You trust this man?"
"I absolutely trust him."
"He's not some kind of madman, then."
"...I absolutely trust him."

Oh sure, shoot at the Angels, I'm sure the bloody bullets won't BOUNCE OFF OF THE METAL WALLS AND KILL YOU ALL. See, didn't happen, it's all good. (Sigh!)

I loved Amy counting down. LOVED IT. It was super creepy and that the Angels did it for FUN was icing on the cake, as was the Doctor's reaction when Bob told him.

"A forest in a bottle on a spaceship in a maze, have I impressed you yet, Amy Pond?"
-- ♥

"We have no need for comfy chairs."
":). I made him say comfy chairs."
-- Hee!!

"What have you done to my Amy."
-- I think he still sees her as the little girl he met that first time 'round and I kind of love that.

Oh my fucking god, the Angels laughing... SO CREEPY, MAKE IT STOP. *shudders*

"If he's dead back there, I'll never forgive myself."
-- Wait a sec. If she knew that she's the one who will kill him (or er, has killed him), she wouldn't have said that, would she? Because she'd know he CAN'T be dead. Though, I'm not sure what she meant by, "And if he's alive I will never forgive him." Any ideas?

"'Cause you're scared, you're dying, shut up."
-- Ouch. But I get it, he needs to focus on saving her and can't allow anything to distract him, especially Amy herself.

"There's an Angel in her mind."

Every time Amy asks the Doctor to "explain" I hear it in Dalek voice. "EXPLAIN! EXPLAIN!" It's very distracting, I'll tell you that. I wonder, though, if there's something behind Amy's constant demands for explanations.

"And anyway, that's not the plan."
"There's a plan?"
"I don't know yet, I haven't finished talking."

"I'll do a Thing."
"What thing?"
"I don't know, it's a Thing-In-Progress. Respect the Thing."
-- Glee!

GAH. I adored that whole scene actually, including the bit with 11 saying goodbye to Amy, and I thought what, what, you can't just-- but he came back and awww! Although I'm confused about what he wanted Amy to remember. Guess I'll have to re-watch the season opener!

LOL @ 11's ohnoyoudidnt when River said time was running out, and then the process when he figures it out. DAMN YOU MATT SMITH, WHY SO ADORABLE.

But seriously, WHY is the duckpond without ducks significant? That's driving me bonkers!

Hrm, one thing I can't get used to is that he keeps getting angry and yelling at people. It just doesn't quite.. fit, somehow.

Another super creepy moment: when Amy's trying to get to the Doctor and the Angels take notice. OMFG. Good to know they're as scary when they move as when they don't move.

Alright so I can't explain it but River seems to catch on to the most complicated things quite easily. Even if she isn't a Timelord, she's too smart to be "just" human.

"I think they've forgotten the gravity of the situation. Or, to put it another way, Angels: night-night."
-- Whee!

GRR ARGH. If River killed the Doctor I will be so very FURIOUS. But I don't think she did, the hints they're all just too obvious. ESPECIALLY because they could only do this at the end of 12's time, and I doubt they will carry this storyline as far as next season, let alone the next Doctor. She could kill 11 of course but feh, that barely counts if he regenerates, does it.

And of COURSE they would assault me with Amy/11 after a great ride like that. Except... it was just about sex, wasn't it? She was all woo, let's shag and the Doctor was all omfg whatbutNO. So I kind of didn't mind as much? It was a good laugh. As long as it doesn't happen again, I'm good. Hopefully.

"You know what I mean?"
"Yeah. ... No."
"Amy Pond. Mad, impossible Amy Pond. I don't know why, I've no idea, but quite possibly the single most important thing in the history of the universe is that I get you sorted out right now."
"That's what I've been trying to tell you."
-- BWAHAHA. And I love how he's so smart and so utterly stupid at the same time. ♥

Wait, that clock. It was midnight, why did it jump to 12:00? Over here at midnight the digital clocks jump to 00:00! o.O

Then I watched the Confidential and uh, I'm not quite sure why half of it was about The Awesome That Is Moffat? Like, they talked about his pre-11 episodes and how super duper brilliant he is and what the everloving fuck, seriously. I can only conclude that Moffat is even more in love with himself than RTD which I didn't think was humanly possible.

ON THE UP SIDE, Matt and Karen are growing on me. It's almost adorable that they don't know how to dress themselves (that yellow jumper was almost as horrible as her make-up! and Matt... HAHAHAHA4EVA) and oh, oh when Matt was talking about his bowlegs and the bum thing, bwahahah!

And hah, if Matt admits they're gossiping about whether River killed the Doctor and they leave that in the Confidential, yeah, TOO OBVIOUS.

AND THEN Matt and Karen made fun of each other while the bedroom scene was set up and Matt was all hahah you talk funneh and Karen hit him with the pillow AND THEN THEY'RE ALL LOLZ "SMOOCHIE SMOOCHIE TIME" AND I DIED. And um, then I died some more when they made fun of Karen for getting carried away during one shot where she put her hand on Matt's inner thigh and promptly denied having done so except they got it on camera. <33333
